Purchasing Goods from our Website
- Since everything is used, there may be wear and tear. We shall try to be as exact as we can in describing their condition. Before removing them from the area, kindly check them. Everything is being sold “as is” (voetstoots). Which means NO returns will be accepted, appliances MUST be switched on to make sure all is in working order on the day of collection.
- NB!! Broken items. You must notify us at the time of collection of any problems. This must include pictures / videos (via Whatsapp.) All refunds exclude the admin fee of R9.
- Faults/broken items flagged after collection have taken place will NOT be eligible for a refund and/or credit.
- Any cancellations must be made within 12 hours of placing your order. Absolutely no cancellations can be made after the first 12 hours. The deposit will be deemed as non-refundable.
- The time and date for collection of items is stated or in some cases collection is made by appointment. Please be there on time stated. Being late (30min +) will instantly result in a “no show”. Exceptions will be made if the client notify us at a minimum time of 30minutes. Let’s please respect the seller’s time.
- Moving Thingz SA has staff all across the country. If we do not have a staff member within your area, we will try to get one. We don’t offer delivery, but we can recommend small businesses that we trust and have a relationship with (only in Western Cape areas at the moment) This has to be communicated to us in advance in order to make the necessary arrangements. Moving Thingz SA can not be held liable for any loss or damages during moving or transporting any items.
- We do not supply boxes or any packaging, nor do we have people to assist you with packing or loading products. (This excludes if we arrange a courier company, at their own discretion. Extra fees may apply if told in advance if needed). You can also arrange a courier or someone to collect on your behalf at your own expense (ITEM MUST STILL BE CHECKED BEFORE LEAVING THE PREMISES AS PER POINT 1-3 OF THE TERMS & CONDITIONS)
- An item may occasionally be taken out of a sale by the seller. This is sadly out of our hands because we are serving as the seller’s agent, however if necessary, we will fully refund any payments that may have been made in the interim.
- Occasionally, if two persons make a purchase at the same moment, an item will go on back order. The individual who paid second will receive a complete refund because typically each item is only produced in one. (Unless stated)
- For all of our sales, we reserve the right of admittance.
